Terms of Use
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms cover your use of McKAILEN, run by McKailen LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
What McKAILEN is
McKAILEN compares a high school athlete's marks with college track and field rosters and helps a family keep a list of schools. It is free. It is a research tool, not a recruiting service: we do not contact colleges for you and we are not connected with any college, conference, the NCAA, the NAIA, the NJCAA or any results service.
What McKAILEN is not
- Not a prediction. A category such as Reach, Match or Thrive, a roster rank, or a target mark describes how marks compare. It does not predict a coach's interest, a roster spot, admission, a scholarship or financial aid.
- Not complete. College results come from public sources and can be missing, late or wrong. Some schools and events do not have enough results to score.
- Not a price quote. Cost figures are published yearly averages, and out-of-state figures are our estimates. Your family's cost will differ.
- Not professional advice. Nothing here is academic, financial, legal or eligibility advice. Check eligibility rules with the college and the governing body.
Always confirm what matters with the college itself.
Who can use it
- You must be 13 or older.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve your account before school, academic and family details are saved.
- Parents, guardians and coaches use their own accounts and link to an athlete with a code the athlete gives them.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Marks you enter yourself are shown as self-reported. Enter real marks.
- Share invite codes only with your own parent, guardian or coach.
Coaches
A coach account may be linked to an athlete only with the athlete's code and, for an athlete under 18, a parent's or guardian's approval. Coaches agree to use what they see only to help that athlete, and not to share it.
What you may not do
- Use another person's account or pretend to be someone else.
- Enter false marks or information about another person without their permission.
- Copy the site's data in bulk, or use automated tools to collect it.
- Try to get into accounts or parts of the system that are not yours, or interfere with the service.
- Use McKAILEN to contact, harass or collect information about minors.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us permission to store and display it to you and to the people you link to your account, so that the service works.
Our content
The site, its design, and the way results are organised and scored belong to us. You may use them for your own or your family's college search. Results and school facts come from public sources that belong to their publishers.
Changes and availability
McKAILEN is in an early test period. Features may change or be removed, the service may be unavailable at times, and information may be reset if needed to fix a problem. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Ending your account
You can stop using McKAILEN at any time and delete your account with "Delete my account" at the bottom of your profile page.
Disclaimers and limits
McKAILEN is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or right for any particular purpose, and you use it at your own risk.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using McKAILEN, including decisions about which colleges to contact, apply to or attend. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim about it is limited to fifty U.S. dollars.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited by agreement.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located there.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
